History

Extra Consulting Ltd is one of the leading banking consulting and training providers in Ukraine. Extra Consulting Ltd was established in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 2000.

Conferences and Seminars

The Company has a successful experience in delivering professional conferences and trainings for executives and middle management of the financial sector. Since 2000, more than 10,000 representatives of banks and other financial institutions have attended more than 1,000 of the company’s seminars.

From 2002 to 2023, the Company also successfully conducted in Kyiv, Ukraine, 66 conferences, namely:

20 Annual Conferences on Profitability and Risk Management Profit|Risk,
18 Annual Conferences on Credit Risk Management Credit|Risk,
12 Annual Conferences on Market and Liquidity Risks Management Market|Risk,
11 Annual Conferences on Operational Risks Management Op|Risk,
5 Annual Conferences on Compliance Risk Management Compliance|Risk.

Each conference gathers 150+ participants. 70% of them are senior and middle managers of the financial institutions.

Since the start of Russian war against Ukraine in 2022, we hosted 15 conferences that gathered more than 4,000 attendees.

Consulting

The Company successfully accomplished several large-scale consulting projects for central and commercial banks as commercial assignments as well as Technical Assistance projects funded by the World bank, IFC, USAID, EBRD, UNDP, EU Delegation in Ukraine. The company was a participant of international teams as well as a principal contractor. The countries of these projects were: Ukraine, countries of the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Vietnam, and Russia.

GARP

The CEO of the Company initiated an establishment of the GARP presence in Ukraine in 2009 by taking part in setting up the GARP’s Regional Chapter and in a successful launch of the FRM and RCP Certification Programs. In 2011, Extra Consulting was appointed by the GARP as a Local Training Provider for the GARP Risk Certification Program (RCP). The Company successfully delivered the Preparation Courses both for the FRM Certification in Kyiv in 2010 and for RCP in 2012.
